After two terms of a young, colored and progressive President, this is what goes on in the inner city of Chicago? Should we blame George Wallace? How about Bull Connor, a member of the Democrat National Committee?

Maybe the new Obama Presidential Library will stop the killing, after it gets some books, destroys 20 acres of historic parkland, tangles up traffic, and makes no verifiable contribution to the community.

    Don’t Tread On Me!

Tourists in the Chicago Loop, River Walk, Navy Pier, and adjoining locations may also experience the urban thrill of being robbed of their cell phones and money. In the south loop the thrill can include being physically assaulted and shot. People with cars will have a better chance of being carjacked, with their children seated in the back , than finding a convenient parking spot.

Welcome to the City that will leave you with never to be forgotten memories of the visit.

    I would put it differently.
The Obama presidency was a huge emotional lift for most African-Americans but it did not solve the basic problems of family, jobs, education, and community that are at the root of the gang problems, drugs, and violence. In many ways, it compounded those problems, though inadvertently.
